Use this page to post a honey bee swarm. By posting the swarm, you are doing the bees a favor. Fredericksburg has a large group of beekeepers. If a beekeeper can capture them and place them into a safe hive where they are wanted and cared for, it rescues them from moving into a structure where they are not wanted. We want your name and phone to be sure the bees are still at the site and to gain access to your property to rescue the bees.
Swarm rescues are usually free, but ask the responding beekeeper about any fees.
A swarm is looking for a home. If the bees have already moved into a structure, tree or other object, they are no longer considered a swarm. This kind of bee removal usually involves a fee. You can post removals here.
